If we’re not

constantly expanding

in our love, in our money, in our joy, in our miracles
then something is fundamentally wrong.
And it’s on us to fix it.
I can remember all of the times

I drew a fence around me

and called myself trapped

The not-right-for-me engagement.
The ever-increasing mounds of debt and dollar drama.
The toxic friends who didn’t support my big dreams.
The feast and famine money cycle.
The shrinking and playing small.
The hiding out.

If you’re experiencing any of it, IT’S OK.

This is the programming that’s handed down to us in this world.

I remember being just 7 years old and refusing to take my spot in first class on an international flight because I didn’t want to look “better” than anyone else. Or opting not to skip a grade in elementary school because I couldn’t stand the thought of advancing past the other kids. Or that time I turned down a promotion in my career so I didn’t outpace my coworkers.

Or opting not to skip a grade in elementary school because I couldn’t stand the thought of advancing past the other kids. Or that time I turned down a promotion in my career so I didn’t outpace my coworkers.

The tipping point

The tipping point came in January of 2016 when, as it does when we’re not being authentic, everything in my life came crashing down in a meteoric way.
My engagement had just ended, leaving me a single mom with about a penny to my name. I couldn’t even afford daycare for my son! Everywhere I looked, doors were closed in my face. My coaching business was at a standstill.
No new clients were signing on,
while my old ones were finishing up their contracts with me.

I was desperate

(Have you ever been desperate? Nothing works when we’re in that place)

I thought back through my life to all the times I’d worked my ass off to get what I want. Like when my mom moved us from my native Venezuela to Texas, and I had to learn English from step zero, juggling my waitressing job with English as a Second Language classes so I could fulfill my dreams of impacting the world in a big way.
Like the two university degrees I studied endlessly for so I could get a great corporate job. Like the way I’d climbed up the corporate ladder to lead and manage 200 people. Like the Young Hispanic Corporate Achiever of the Year award I’d won in Washington D.C.

What had all of that hard work gotten me?

A fast-track ticket to stalling out on the highway of my life: broke, alone, scared and fed up.

I’m not on Earth to be overlooked, overworked and overwhelmed.

And neither are you.

I’d had big dreams ever since I was that little girl back in Venezuela fantasizing about standing on stages and having my own radio show and impacting the lives of everyone I meet.
Edwin Hubble (his namesake being the Hubble Telescope) proved way back in 1925 that the universe is expanding.
Those things weren’t going to happen if I couldn’t figure out how to get out of my own way. I needed to learn how to defriend resistance and expand infinitely, so I could truly receive and accept all of the goodness I wanted for myself.

I’m part of the Universe.
You’re part of the Universe.

Shouldn’t we be expanding too?
The answer is a resounding

YES.

If you want bigger blessings and bigger opportunities, like I did, you have to expand to receive them.
Receiving became my new M.O. Every day I affirmed to myself, “My capacity to receive expands Infinitely like the Universe.”

What happened when I made that internal shift toward expansion?

The outside shifted too.

I made multiple 6 figures in 2 months, after being broker than broke. I manifested an actual physical house that I moved into with my son. I got a free vacation to St. Barths. I traveled to 5 countries.
I created my flagship program Infinite Receiving, which has changed the lives of thousands of women all over the world. Someone named a word after me (It’s “marumination” and it means “deep philosophical statements from the universe that crack your consciousness wide open”).
In short, I got bit by the Big Blue U, and I’ve never looked back.
Today I’m taking a stand for expansion. All of my work seems to come back to this profound, beautiful, magical, practical word. Hopefully soon it’ll be your motto too.
